
RiverKings Fall in Knoxville

Mississippi RiverKings News Release
Southaven, Miss. -The Mississippi RiverKings fell on the road to the Knoxville IceBears 5-1.
The Ice Bears got the scoring started less than two minutes into the game as Emery Olauson buried home a Kevin Swider pass on a two-on-one to give Knoxville a 1-0 lead.
Early in the second, Dan Bremner notched his fifth goal of the season as he ripped a feed from Olauson to give Knoxville a 2-0 lead just 1:26 into the second period. Jeremy Klaver added a third Knoxville tally midway through the period giving Knoxville a 3-0 lead.
The RiverKings cut the lead to 3-1 as Deven Stillar came in on a breakaway and beat Jesse Kallechy to pick up his third goal of the season.
The second period ended with a pair of fights as Brendan Bullett dropped the gloves with Tyler Fletcher. Seconds later, Deven Stillar and Steve Wiedler squared off immediately after the puck drop on the ensuing faceoff.
With just seconds left in the second, Berkley Scott took Jason Ford's outlet pass and beat David Wilson low, blocker side to put Knoxville back up three, 4-1.
Dan Bremner scored his second goal of the game with just over three minutes left in the game with the assist going to Kyle VanderMale to put the IceBears up 5-1.
David Wilson takes the loss after stopping 26 of 31 shots against. Jesse Kallechy gets his third win in as many games against the "ËKings as he stopped 29 of 30 shots.
The RiverKings return home tomorrow night to face off against the Huntsville Havoc at 6:35.
