Havoc Get Big Win On Road

HUNTSVILLE, AL - The Huntsville Havoc picked up huge come-from-behind win in their only game last week with a 5-3 victory over the Mississippi Surge on Friday night.

Friday, December 23 - Huntsville 5, Mississippi Surge 3

BILOXI, MS - Justin Fox recorded his first career hat-trick as the Huntsville Havoc got a much needed win 5-3 over the Mississippi Surge Friday night.

Rick Shrank put the Havoc on the board first with 13:21 left in the first period.

Mississippi would reel off three straight goals by Adam Stuart, Nick Petriello and Nick Guran. Glenn Detulleo would add a powerplay goal with 1:29 left in the first and the Surge held a 3-2 lead after one period of play.

Fox scored his first goal just 1:44 into the second period. His second goal put the Havoc up 4-3 with 7:13 left in the third period and he added an empty-net goal with :13 left to cap the hat-trick.

Newly acquired Kevin Beech stopped 26 shots in the win for the Havoc while Nick Eno made 22 in the loss.
