
Riverhounds to Host Try Outs

Washington, PA - The Riverhounds FC announced they will host an Open Try Out in February according to officials. "We'll have an open try out this year on February 11th," said Gene Klein, head coach for the USL Division 2 team. "Participants need to come prepared with the appropriate footwear and attire, and we'll supply the rest."
The try-outs will be held at the UPMC Center on the Southside. Registration is set to get underway at 8:00 a.m,. and the actual try-outs begin at 9:00 a.m. Soccer players can pre-register by logging onto www.riverhounds.com or by stopping by the Falconi Field office to obtain a registration form.
"These try outs give the coaching staff a chance to see who is out there," added Klein. "We're trying to uncover undiscovered soccer potential."
In 2005 the Riverhounds signed 6'2" Sewickley native Brian Bajek from their open try-out.
The HOUNDS® are set to open their season at Falconi Field with a Soccer Weekend at Falconi Field May 5 & 6. Ticket and group packages are available at the box office.
