Riverhounds, Highmark & AHN Hosting Turkey Distribution Monday with Pgh. Food Bank

PITTSBURGH - Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, Highmark and Allegheny Health Network are partnering with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank to host a Thanksgiving turkey distribution event in the West Lot of Highmark Stadium from 4-5:30 p.m. this Monday, Nov. 22.
Riverhounds players, coaches and staff, along with staff from Highmark and AHN, have volunteered to assist with handing out meals to area families during the drive-up distribution event, which is part of the Food Bank's ongoing mission to ensure everyone in the Pittsburgh area has access to healthy meals, especially during the holiday season.
It is the third straight year the Riverhounds organization, in conjunction with Highmark and AHN, will volunteer with the Food Bank, though this year's distribution will mark the first time having an on-site event since the beginning of the pandemic last year. The team hopes to continue hosting similar events, both in the city and at the AHN Montour Complex in Coraopolis once construction is completed early next year.
