First for the Club

With the win against rivals RGV FC in the Conference Semifinals last Saturday, SAFC advanced to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in club history. The match also marked the first win vs. RGV in playoff history and eighth overall against their rivals. SAFC has now taken its overall playoff record to 3-2 following the win and will move on to face Orange County SC on the road. The opponent is the sixth unique playoff opponent for San Antonio, following RGV FC, San Diego Loyal SC, New Mexico United, FC Tulsa and OKC Energy FC.

New Postseason Leader

With his two goals against RGV FC, Santiago Patino now has three in the playoffs, which is the most by a single player in club history. His brace was also a first in the postseason for the club. Additionally, Nathan scored his second goal of the playoffs last Saturday, which ties him with Cesar Elizondo for second on the all-time playoff scoring list.
