Richmond, VA – The Richmond RiverDogs of the United Hockey League will be the Richmond Miracle tomorrow night vs. Adirondack. The name was selected from a "Re-name The Team" Contest. The logo incorporates the ‘Dogs logo into a star as part of the theme honoring the 1980 US Olympic Gold Medal champion hockey team.

The ‘Dogs play four of their next five games at home following a nine game road trip. Richmond is in first place by one point over Flint in the Eastern Conference with 11 regular season games remaining.

· Friday's "Re-name The Team Night" features the Richmond Miracle taking the ice. The Miracle will wear replica USA Hockey 1980 Olympic jerseys which will be auctioned off following the game. It is also a Family Four Pack Night (four tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas, and four Fling-a-Puck vouchers for $44.00). Saturday it is "Pack The Pound Night." The Upper Bowl will be open as the ‘Dogs attempt to break the UHL single game attendance record. All fans will receive free ThunderSticks courtesy of Folger's and Fas mart. Scouts in uniform will receive a free RiverDogs logo puck. Lt. Governor Tim Kaine will be on hand for a ceremonial face off.

· The Richmond 2K Challenge is underway. The ‘Dogs are looking for 2,000 season seats sold for the 2004/05 season. Season seats are on sale now for $320.00 in Center and End locations.
