Generals team up with Muscular Dystrophy Association of Genesee County

FLINT, MI - The Flint Generals of the United Hockey League and the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Genesee County are proud to announce the first ever "Spaghetti on Ice" on Friday, March 26, 2004 at Perani's Hockey World Arena & Event Center beginning at 5:30 p.m. All proceeds raised will benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association's local clients.

Admission prices are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids under 12 years old. This special dinner event features the Flint Generals as celebrity servers bringing spaghetti dinners to your table at ice level....on skates. The players will wear commemorative jerseys that will be auctioned off as a part of the festivities. There will be live and silent auctions, raffles and door prizes to benefit the MDA.

"The Flint Generals are very proud to be involved in this dinner to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association," said Vice President/Head Coach, Robbie S. Nichols. "We are so fortunate to have the opportunity to give back to our community. This is another very important cause to fight the battle and to someday, defeat the neuro-muscular diseases that have already taken too many lives."

The Flint Generals and the MDA are accepting prize donations to be used for the silent and live auctions to for additional fundraising efforts.
