RiverDogs ready for home opener

RICHMOND, VA - The waiting is over for many, the team is set, the town is on fire as it is time for Richmond RiverDogs Hockey! The RiverDogs will begin their 2005-2006 campaign with a home opener that hockey fans in the Virginia capital will never forget as the team plays host to division rival Adirondack Frostbite at the Richmond Coliseum, Friday, October 21, 2005 at 7:30pm.

The evening will kick off with a tailgate party beginning at 5:30pm featuring the band Chicago Cy. There will be pre-game ceremony that fans will not want to miss and a special puckdrop to inaugurate the season. Following the game, there will be a postgame party at Capital Ale House, 623 E. Main Street in Downtown Richmond.

Immediately following the game, the RiverDogs travel to Adirondack to face the Frostbite for a pair of games, Saturday, October 22 at 7:30pm and Sunday, October 23 at 1:30pm.
