Moline, IL-Opening Night 2005, presented by Valley Bank, will feature over a Million Dollars in giveaways this Saturday night at The MARK of the Quad Cities. Tickets are still available via all Ticketmaster outlets and The MARK box office for the scheduled 7:00 PM start.

As part of the Opening Night Festivities, the Mallards will invite two lucky fans down to the ice to shoot for $100,000. In addition to the $100,000 shootout, every fan that attends the Opening Night Game will receive a prize package featuring hundreds of dollars of valuable offers from Mallards marketing partners. This unprecedented giveaway will total over one million dollars in value for fans at the Opening Night Game!

Other highlights of Opening Night include a fireworks and laser show extravaganza that will highlight player introductions. The RELOADED Mallards will be welcomed with a bang as The MARK is illuminated by a breathtaking pyrotechnics display.

The Mallards open the 2005-06 season on Friday night in Flint vs. the Generals. The Mallards Pre-Game Show begins at 6:05 p.m. central time on Fox Sports Radio AM 1230. Opening face-off is slated for 6:30 p.m.
