
RiverDogs fall to Jackals 3-2

ELMIRA, NY - Craig MacDonald's two goals along with a pair in 0:11 was enough as the Elmira Jackals defeat the Richmond RiverDogs by the score of 3-2 and ending Richmond's two game win streak. The RiverDogs fall to 2-6 on the season as they end their two game swing in Elmira. Scoring for the RiverDogs was Mike Oliveira and J.J. Wrobel. Dan Vandermeer notched an assist as he continues his steady play. Brother Billy got his first professional point when he assisted on the Oliveira goal. Mike D'Alessandro made his third start in a row and faced 46 shots. Richmond was 1 for 4 on the man advantage and was outshoot 46-27.
The RiverDogs will conclude their three game in three day run tomorrow as the team comes home to the friendly confines of the Richmond Coliseum to play host to Adirondack at 4:05 pm. Following the game will be the first Fox Post-Game Skate with the RiverDogs of the season. Fans are invited to bring their skates and join the Dogs on the ice for pictures, autographs and a whole lot of fun.
