
RiverDogs fall to Frostbite

GLEN FALLS, NY - Hugo Belanger's three point game and a fast 3-0 start led the Adirondack Frostbite to a 5-2 win and hand the Richmond RiverDogs their third straight loss in front of a crowd of 1,605 at the Glen Falls Civic Center in Glen Falls, NY. Lyle Porter got the game started 0:31 into the first and less than a minute later, Hugo Belanger scored to put the Frostbite ahead 2-0. Bobby Stewart connected to make the score 3-0 before Mike Oliveira put the RiverDogs on the board and cut Adirondack's lead to 3-1. The home side scored again to make the score 4-1 when Oliveira scored his second of the game to tighten the score at 4-2. Sylvain Cloutier nailed the door shut at 17:07 giving the Frostbite the 5-2 win and their third straight win. Mike D'Alesandro was in nets for the RiverDogs as he faced 32 shots.
The RiverDogs return home to the Richmond Coliseum for a two game home stand with Roanoke Valley coming into town Friday, October 28 and Danbury on Saturday, October 29. Both games begin at 7:35pm.
