RiverDogs, Drive Suspended Due to Weather

Charleston RiverDogs News Release


GREENVILLE, S.C. - Friday night's game at Fluor Field between the Charleston RiverDogs and the Greenville Drive has been suspended in the bottom of the second inning with the Drive leading 2-0.

The game will be resumed on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. For the remainder of the series, the two teams will play Sunday at the regularly scheduled time at 4:05 p.m., and Monday the teams will play a doubleheader beginning at 4:30 p.m..

The Drive scored a pair of runs against David Palladino in the bottom of the first on an RBI single by Danny Bethea and an RBI groundout by Javier Guerra.

RHP Matt Wotherspoon (2-0, 4.22) is slated to take the hill when the game resumes on Saturday. You can catch the action beginning with Saturday Dog Talk at 6:30 p.m. on "The Big Talker" 1250 WTMA, WTMA.com, riverdogs.com, and the Tune-In Radio App.
