ALBANY, NY - The Albany River Rats today announced that the club will hold a 24-hour Early Bird Season Ticket Raffle, giving fans the opportunity to win a pair of tickets in the Capital District Sports, Inc. Suite to see Bruce Springsteen on Thursday evening.

All interested parties will need to execute a payment agreement or purchase and pay for a 2009-10 season ticket package during the 24 hour time period to be entered into the raffle. The 24-hour window will close at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2009 and the winner will be contacted prior to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday to coordinate pick up of the tickets to the sold out show, which is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

The current Early Bird special is the River Rats' most aggressive season ticket discount in franchise history. Season ticket holders who pay in full by May 30, 2009 will save a total of $248 on box office prices, making River Rats season tickets once again the most affordable of any in the American Hockey League.
