Houston Aeros advance to Western Conference Finals

MILWAUKEE, Wisc. - The Houston Aeros' Calder Cup Playoffs presented by The Maple Leaf Pub will continue on to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2003. Houston defeated the Milwaukee Admirals in seven games and head to Manitoba to face the 2008-09 regular season champion Moose. The Aeros and Moose have faced off only once before during the 2001 post season in which Manitoba won in seven games. The schedule for the series is as follows.

Western Conference Finals - Series "N" (best-of-7) N1-Manitoba Moose vs. W3-Houston Aeros Game 1 - Fri., May 15 - Houston at Manitoba, 7:30 p.m. Game 2 - Sat., May 16 - Houston at Manitoba, 7:30 p.m. Game 3 - Mon., May 18 - Manitoba at Houston, 7:05 p.m. Game 4 - Wed., May 20 - Manitoba at Houston, 7:05 p.m. *Game 5 - Fri., May 22 - Manitoba at Houston, 7:35 p.m. *Game 6 - Mon., May 25 - Houston at Manitoba, 7:30 p.m. *Game 7 - Wed., May 27 - Houston at Manitoba, 7:30 p.m. *If necessary, all times Central (dates and times subject to change)

The Houston Aeros are set to host Games Three, Four and Five (if necessary) of the Western Conference finals against the Manitoba Moose. Games Three and Four are scheduled for Monday, May 18 and Wednesday, May 20 respectively and Game Five is slated for Friday, May 22 if necessary. Tickets will be on sale for Games Three and Four Thursday, May 14 at 9 a.m. Call (713) 974-PUCK or visit AEROS.com to purchase your tickets for the Aeros continuing Calder Cup Playoff run. Fans who have already purchased playoff packages will use tickets ‘I', ‘J' and ‘K' for Games Three, Four and Five of the third round, respectively.
