
River Cats Winter Baseball Camp This Weekend

WHAT: The River Cats will host their third-annual Winter Baseball Camp this weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) at Raley Field. Former River Cats MARK ELLIS and ERIC BYRNES will lead the sold-out camp, along with manager Bob Geren, pitching coach Rick Rodriguez, outfielders Jose Flores and Mike Lockwood, pitcher Frank Lankford and others.
The following is this weekend's schedule of events:
Friday (8 - 10:30 p.m.) Campers watch movie in River Cats' clubhouse (followed by sleepover in clubhouse).
* River Cats players will be present for only a small portion of this event.
Saturday (9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.) Camp (baseball instruction)
Sunday (9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.) Camp (followed by photo & autograph session)
WHO: The River Cats' Winter Baseball Camp is for children ages 9-14.
WHEN: Oct. 25-27 (see times above).
WHERE: Raley Field.
