WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The Sacramento River Cats will host their fifth-annual Winter Baseball Camp from Oct. 29-31 at Raley Field. Center fielder Nick Swisher and first baseman Graham Koonce highlight the instructors scheduled to participate.

All children ages 9-14 are eligible to enroll in the camp, which is limited to 120 participants (first-come-first-served). Campers can register by mail or at the Raley Field Ticket Office by Oct. 22, and registration forms are available on the internet at www.rivercats.com or by calling 916-376-4856.

"The River Cats Winter Baseball Camp is an excellent opportunity for Sacramento's young athletes to develop their baseball skills," River Cats Senior Vice President & General Manager Gary Arthur said. "Each of our first four camps were sold out, and each athlete walked away with new skills and memories. We anticipate this year's camp will be the best yet."

For $199, campers will receive two days of instruction (Oct. 30-31) from River Cats players and coaches, the opportunity to play at Raley Field, an official camp shirt and hat and a complimentary lunch each day of the camp. Also, campers will have the opportunity to participate in the Winter Baseball Camp Sleepover in the Raley Field clubhouse on Oct. 29.

The following are the instructors scheduled to participate in this year's camp: Swisher, Koonce, catcher Mike Rose, shortstop Mike Rouse, pitchers Ron Flores and Chris Mabeus, manager Tony DeFrancesco and pitching coach Rick Rodriguez.
