River Cats And Comcast SportsNet Team Up For Two Half-Hour Specials

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Sacramento River Cats and Comcast SportsNet West will team up for two (2) thirty minute specials this year focusing solely on the River Cats and other events at Raley Field, team and Comcast SportsNet officials announced today. The first special, scheduled to air on April 8th at 6:30 p.m. with at least another eight airings in the following two weeks, will serve as a preseason look at the upcoming River Cats season with segments on players to watch for, new additions at Raley Field and a recap of the team's exciting late season run in 2007 that culminated with the Cats being crowned as PCL and Triple-A Baseball champions. The second special, scheduled to air multiple times midseason (exact dates TBD), will take a look at the team as it passes the mid-point of the 2008 season. Both specials will be available On Demand for Comcast digital cable subscribers following the original and follow-up airings.
