
River Cats, 92.1 K-HITS to Continue Broadcast Partnership

WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Sacramento River Cats and 92.1 K-HITS have announced today that they will continue their broadcast partnership for the 2009 season and that K-HITS will continue as the team's Official Radio Station and exclusive English-language broadcast partner. All 144 regular season River Cats games, the 2009 Triple-A All-Star Game (July 15 in Portland, OR) and all River Cats postseason games will be broadcast on K-HITS. Streaming game broadcasts will also be available online at www.rivercats.com. The "Voice" of the River Cats, Johnny Doskow, will return for his 9th season handling all play-by-play duties on the team's broadcast.

The River Cats open their 2009 season and defense of their back-to-back PCL and Triple-A Baseball championships on Thursday, April 9th when they host the Tacoma Rainiers (Triple-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners) at Raley Field at 7:05 p.m. Tickets for this game are currently available only through purchase of River Cats Full Season Tickets, Mini Plans and group packages. 2009 River Cats Season Tickets, Mini Plans and group outings can be purchased at the Raley Field Ticket Office and by calling the River Cats Ticket Hotline at (916) 371-HITS (4487).
