New Mexico United News Release
Albuquerque, NM - New Mexico United is incredibly proud to announce that Caity Sobel - our Director of Corporate Partnership Activation, has been named a winner of Front Office Sports' Rising 25 Award - one of the most competitive and prestigious honors in sports. Each year, a panel of judges from across sport choose from hundreds of nominees, naming 25 young leaders under 25 years of age who push their teams and communities to succeed
"In a year of uncertainty and difficult terrain for all of us, Caity pushed us forward," said New Mexico United President/CEO Peter Trevisani. "She deserves every accolade and honor. Caity is a constant advocate for our partners; caring just as much about their success as she does about United's. We are honored to have her represent United both as a Rising 25 winner, and in the community every single day."
Sobel's work has her overseeing activations for more than 70 corporate partners - creating and activating meaningful assets, events, and more - ranging from field signage, to online activities and games, to jersey partners. Despite working with so many partners, Sobel makes sure that each has a personal touch and attention, making sure that their specific activation is exactly what works for them.
"When we came to United, we really didn't know what we were getting into," said NM 811's Laura Harrison. "But Caity was always there to hold our hand and guide us through the process. She's gone above and beyond anything we could have ever dreamed of. She thought of a creative out-of-the-box activation for us in the middle of an incredibly difficult pandemic. That activation still makes an impact for us a year later. We love and value her professionalism, partnership, and enthusiasm."
Sobel joins young leaders from organizations like Adidas, Instagram, the National Football League, the National Basketball Association and more as 2021 honorees.
