Rio Grande Valley's Aaron Lee Leads ‘Oakley Three Stars' for October

GLENDALE, AZ (December 5, 2011) -Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees forward Aaron Lee, Fort Wayne Komets goaltender Nick Boucher and Evansville Icemen forward Todd Robinson have been named the "˜Oakley Three Stars "˜ for the month of November/2011.

For ending the second month of the season with the highest three star point total and winning the "˜Oakley Three Star Player of the Month' for November, Lee will receive a special gift from Oakley. Learn more about Oakley's products at www.oakley.com.

Players are awarded five points for first star recognition, three points for a second star nod and a single point for being named the third star of the game. Keep up with the season-long standings and quest to be the Oakley Three Star Player of the Year at www.centralhockeyleague.com.

First Star - Aaron Lee, F, Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees

Lee finished the month with nine goals, five assists and a +10 plus/minus rating in eleven games. He was named the first star four times in the month, and the second star twice (26 points). The Calgary, Alberta native has five game-winning goals on the season, and is currently tied for the league lead with 13 goals.

Second Star - Nick Boucher, G, Fort Wayne Komets

Boucher earned sixteen points in the three stars rakings earning three first stars and one third star honor in the month. The Leduc, Alberta native leads the league with 10 wins earning victories in each of his last five decisions. Boucher also leads the league with a 2.25 goals and is carrying a .923 save percentage.

Third Star - Todd Robinson, F, Evansville IceMen

Robinson finished the month with four goals and thirteen assists in eleven games played. He has been named a first star twice this month and the second star twice as well. During the first week of November, Robinson won the Oakley CHL Player of the Week. The Trail, British Colombia native is currently in his 13th professional hockey season, and is still as productive as ever as he sits in the league-lead with 27 points (6-21').
