Aaron Lee Leads Oakley Three Stars for November

The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees, in conjunction with the Central Hockey League, announced on Monday that Killer Bees forward Aaron Lee has been named the number one star in the Oakley Three Stars of the Month for November.

Lee finished the month of November with nine goals and five in 11 games and during November was a +10. Lee also remains tied atop the CHL leaderboard at 13 goals this season.

For ending the second month of the season with the highest three star point total and winning the 'Oakley Three Star Player of the Month' for November, Lee will receive a special gift from Oakley. Learn more about Oakley's products at www.oakley.com .

Players are awarded five points for first star recognition, three points for a second star nod and a single point for being named the third star of the game.

Lee has been one of the most consistent forwards in Bees history and currently sits second all-time with 72 career goals with the Bees. This season is Lees fourth with the team and Lee has previously suited up for 207 games with the Bees and is closing in on the record of 223 held by Bill Newson. Lee is set to tie the record on Jan. 13 against Texas and break it on Jan. 14 also against Texas.

The Killer Bees are in action this week with four games. The Bees open play Tuesday against the Allen Americans then host the Texas Brahmas on Wednesday. This coming weekend the Bees travel to Laredo for a pair of games. Tickets are available by calling 843-7825 or visiting killerbeehockey.com.
