Ringing in the New Year

December 28, 2004 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Bismarck Bobcats News Release

Bismarck, N.D., Dec. 28, 2004-Coming off a week of Christmas cheer and relaxation, the Bobcats are ready to ring in the new year by getting things started off on the right 'skate.'

Looking to the second half of the season as a new start, the 'Cats are prepared to give the best gift any fan could receive-a win!

Thursday your Bismarck Bobcats face off against rival team, the Fargo-Moorhead Jets. As the adrenaline starts, pumping things will heat up in the VFW with Cloverdale $1 Hotdog Night and fan favorite, Firestone 10K Shot. Bring a non-perishable food item for the Ruth Meier's Hospitality House and get a $1 off the general admission price.

The Bobcats will hit the ice for a second time this Saturday when they face off against the Billings Bulls. Things will light-up as Bank Center First brings you the Dot-to-Dot Low Interest Shot and two fans will duke it out in the Borrowed Bucks Sumo Joust.

Both Thursday and Saturday night cheer on Bismarck's smallest hockey players, the red mites, as they strut their stuff during the second intermission.

Stick around after the game to get the autographs of this week's featured players, #18 Donnie Mitchell and #20 Aaron Bendickson, only at the Expressway Personnel Autograph Zone. Then join the players, staff, coaches and management of Bobcat Hockey at the Ground Round, our post game headquarters.
