Lang is with his second NBA team this season. He was signed to two 10-day contracts by the Atlanta Hawks (March 2 and 12, 2006) but did not appear in any games. He was originally drafted by the New Orleans Hornets in the second-round (48th overall) in the 2003 NBA Draft. The product of Central Park Christian High School in Birmingham, Ala. made the club's regular-season roster, but didn't appear in a game before being waived December 29, 2003. He was in Utah's training camp in October where he appeared in six games, posting averages of 1.8 points and 2.5 rebounds.
