
Riders Sign KR Matt Brown

The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today import kick returner Matt Brown has signed with the team. Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.
Brown (5'5 - 165) joins the Riders after recently attending training camp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He originally signed with the Bucs in May, 2013.
The Baltimore, MD native spent the previous four seasons at Temple University. While with the Owls, Brown spent time at runningback rushing for 2,647 yards and 23 touchdowns on 466 carries. Additionally, the 24-year-old returned 83 kicks in his college career for 2,068 yards and two touchdowns. He also had 45 punt returns for 403 yards over the past two seasons. Brown won 2012 Big East Special Teams Player of the Year and was a 2012 All-Big East First Team player as a coaches' selection.
