AMARILLO, Texas - A six-run third inning helped the RoughRiders roll to a 9-2 win in Amarillo Saturday night.

SYNOPSIS

* After the first two men were retired in the third, the Riders put the next eight men on base to score six runs and take a commanding 7-0 lead.

* Starter Jason Bahr was perfect through five innings and finished with 5 1/3 innings of one-hit ball, striking out seven along the way.

* Tony Sanchez and Yonny Hernandez each collected three hits for the second night in a row.

* Jason Bahr: 5 1/3 IP, 1 H, 2 ER, 1 BB, 7 K (W)

* Tony Sanchez: 3-for-5, RBI, R

* Charles Leblanc: 2-for-5, 2 RBI, R

* Bahr has a 1.56 ERA in three starts during the month of August.

* The Riders have won their last six meetings with first-place Amarillo and now sit 3.5 games out of first place with 16 games remaining in the second half.
