GREAT SCOTT: Forward John Scott recently returned to the lineup. Scott picked up his first goal for the IceCaps Wednesday night against the Syracuse Crunch.

FRESH FACE: The IceCaps signed forward Evan Rankin to a 25-game PTO on Thursday. Rankin made his debut with St. John's on Friday night in Binghamton.

LEAGUE LEADERS: Bud Holloway sits tied for 7th in league scoring (15G, 29A, 44P). In the league rookie-scoring race, Michael McCarron is tied for sixth, with 34 points (15G, 19A) in 52 games. Morgan Ellis remains in second place for goals scored by an AHL defenceman, with 12 tallies in 54 games.

John Scott scored his first goal with the IceCaps as the St. John's club topped the Syracuse Crunch in a shootout at the War Memorial Arena in Syracuse, NY. Michael McCarron tied the game with a power play marker with just 2:34 left in regulation, and also potted the game winner in a five-round shootout.

Brandon McNally scored the lone goal for St. John's as the IceCaps were nipped by the Binghamton Senators Friday night at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton, N.Y. After a scoreless first period, the Senators found the back of the net at 3:46 of the middle frame, before McNally's second of the year tied the contest six minutes later. The Senators sealed the win at 12:42 of the second period.

The Senators swept a two-game series at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena with a win over the IceCaps on Saturday night. Morgan Ellis potted St. John's only goal late in the third to bring the score to 3-1, but Binghamton's Buddy Robinson capitalized on the IceCaps empty net to seal the victory for the Senators.

Mark MacMillan and Brandon McNally picked up the helpers on Ellis' tally.
