Ontario Reign News Release

Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), along with the Claremont Club, announced the date of this season's Reign Gala to benefit the Be Perfect Foundation, which will be held on Tuesday, February 23.

The evening kicks off with a cocktail hour starting at 6:00 p.m. and dinner at 7:00 p.m. at the Double Tree by Hilton Ontario Airport followed by a live jersey auction of the Reign's warmup jerseys worn by the team during pregame warmups as well as appearances in the community. The auction will benefit the Be Perfect Foundation. Tickets for the dinner are on sale now for $35 and fans will be seated with a player or coach from the Reign.

The Be Perfect Foundation is a grassroots non-profit 501(c)3 organization established in 2007 by Hal Hargrave Jr. just a few months after he suffered a life altering automobile accident, which left him paralyzed from the neck down.

The Foundation was set up when Hal realized the short falls and the limitations insurance companies were putting on some of his spinal cord injured friends and decided that he needed to help them along in their recovery. The Foundation offers scholarships for activity-based therapy at Project Walk to qualified recipients. The non-profit also provides funds to those needing wheelchairs, adapting cars, as well as covering unpaid medical bills to those who cannot afford to pay their deductibles and general daily medical necessities.

Over the previous three seasons, the Reign and the Claremont Club have helped the Be Perfect Foundation raise over $65,800.
