WOR 3 vs STJ 1

The IceCaps lost to the Worcester Sharks at the DCU Center in their first of three weekend games. Bryan Lerg scored twice for Worcester and Aaron Dell stopped 24-of-25 shots. JC Lipon scored the IceCaps' lone goal while Connor Hellebuyck made 18 saves in the loss.

MCH 2 vs STJ 1 (OT)

The IceCaps dropped an overtime decision to the Manchester Monarchs at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, N.H. Brian O'Neill scored a pair of powerplay goals for the Monarchs, including the winner at 3:07 of the extra frame. Brenden Kichton staked the IceCaps to a 1-0 lead at 4:35 of the first period as he skated in from the blueline and fired a slapper top shelf past Patrik Bartosak. Joel Armia and Patrice Cormier were awarded assists.

Sun., Mar. 22

STJ 3 vs PRO 2

A three-goal, third period propelled the St. John's IceCaps to victory over the Providence Bruins at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, R.I. Patrice Cormier, Brenden Kichton and Julien Brouilette -with the game-winner- scored for St. John's, which trailed by two entering the final frame. Blair Riley and Nicholas Blanchard each had two assists in the win.

MOLSON CUP THREE STARS

Welcome Aboard: On Friday, the IceCaps announced the signings of a pair of defencemen - Peter Stoykewych and Aaron Harstad - to ATOs. Both blueliners just finished four-year careers with Colorado College (NCAA).
