Gwinnett Stripers News Release
On September 1st, the last Braves game played at The Diamond will be commemorated with many former Braves players who will pay tribute to the past 42 years of baseball in Richmond. The following players are all scheduled to appear in Richmond for the final game: David Justice (88-90), Dale Murphy (76-77), Javy Lopez (93), Tommy Greene (88-90), Shaun Fitzmaurice (69-73), Harry Saferight (80-81), Chip Childress (87), Ralph Garr (69-70), Johnny Grubb (88), David Clay (84-85), and Mike Hubbard (00, 03).
The September 1st game vs. Norfolk will begin at 2:00 pm. Stadium gates will open at 12:45 with pre-game festivities scheduled to start at 1:40.
