Pensacola, Fla.Pensacola Ice Pilots Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Todd Gordon announced that defenseman Rich Spiller has been waived. Spiller played in 44 games with the Ice Pilots this season scoring 1 goal, 1 assist for 2 points and picked up 53 penalty minutes and played in 49 games overall in the ECHL picking up a goal and an assist and 57 penalty minutes.
The Ice Pilots will play three games on the road this weekend beginning Friday and Saturday night at Arkansas at 7:05 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at Jackson at 2:05 p.m.
The Ice Pilots final two home games of the regular season are Friday, March 28th vs. Mississippi at 7:05 p.m. and Sunday, March 30th vs. Columbus at 5:05 p.m. Its a Papa Johns Family Night on Friday, March 28th. Fans can purchase four tickets, four sodas, four slices of pizza and one game program for as low as $44. It must be ordered through the Ice Pilots office.
Sunday, March 30th is Fan Appreciation Day. Team Photos will be given away and a post game autograph session with the team will take place. It is also Kids Day. Kids 12 and under will receive one $10 ticket free with a paid adult.
Fans can purchase individual game tickets in person at the Civic Center box office, at any Ticketmaster location, Charge by Phone at 434-7444 or through www.icepilots.com. Kelly Cup Playoff Strips are on sale for all 15 potential Ice Pilots home games. For Playoff tickets, season tickets, group tickets and birthday parties, fans can call the Ice Pilots office at 432-7825.
