San Diego Gulls News Release
SAN DIEGO - Ticket packages for the 2003 Taylor Cup Playoffs are now on sale through the San Diego Gulls box office or web site. All packages will include tickets for both rounds, eight potential home games.
Three different packages are being sold, based on seat location. All packages include free parking and can be ordered by calling 619-224-GOAL or at www.sadiegogulls.com:
Lower level/center loge = $150 (total savings of 18.5%)
End loge/corner loge = $125 (total savings of 18%)
Terrace = $100 (total savings of 14%)
Individual tickets go on sale starting Friday, April 4 through the San Diego Sports Arena box office or Ticketmaster:
Lower level/center loge = $23
End loge/corner loge = $19
Terrace = $14.50
Currently the Gulls are in second place in the West Coast Hockey League, which projects them to play the third-place Bakersfield Condors in the first round. Games 1 and 2 of the best-of-seven series would be at the Sports Arena on April 8 and 9, both starting at 7 p.m. If necessary, games 6 and 7 would also be played in San Diego on April 18 at 7 p.m. and April 20 at 5 p.m.
If the Gulls and Condors flip in the standings, San Diego would host games 3 and 4 on April 16 and 18 at 7 p.m. If necessary, Game 5 would also be at the Sports Arena on April 20, starting at 5 p.m.
Dates and times of the second round - Taylor Cup Finals - will be announced at a later date. It will also be a best-of-seven format.
