RHP Zach Lee (Groin) Activated from 7-Day Disabled List; RHP Eduar Lopez (Elbow) Placed on 7-Day Disabled List

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Tampa Bay Rays announced on Monday that Biscuits RHP Zach Lee (groin) has been activated from the 7-day Disabled List.

Lee, 26, first sustained his injury on June 1 in a home start against the Jackson Generals. The 2018 Southern League All-Star is 6-1 with a 2.53 ERA in 10 starts for Montgomery this season, and will make his first start in 10 days for the Biscuits on Monday night against his former club, the Chattanooga Lookouts.

The Rays also announced that RHP Eduar Lopez has been placed on the 7-day Disabled List with an elbow injury. Lopez, 23, is 5-2 with a 4.32 ERA in 11 starts and one relief appearance for the Biscuits in 2018. The Dominican righty had won each of his last four appearances.
