
RHP Jose Ramirez Promoted to AAA

Trenton Thunder News Release
The Trenton Thunder, Double-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, announced Friday that RHP Jose Ramirez has been promoted from the team to Triple-A Scranton. Additionally, LHP Cesar Cabral has been outrighted to Trenton by the Yankees and joins the team's active roster.
Ramirez, a member of the Yankees' 40-man roster, is expected to start for Scranton tonight. He made nine appearances (eight starts) for Trenton this season and went 1-3 with a 2.76 ERA. The righty struck out 50 batters and walked inly 15 in 42.1 innings of work.
Cabral pitched three games for the Thunder as part of his recent Major League rehab assignment. The lefty went 0-0 with a 12.60 ERA, allowing seven runs and nine hits in five innings of work.
