
RHP Adam Lau Joins Salem

The Salem Red Sox have received RHP Adam Lau from extended spring training and transferred RHP Austin Maddox to Short Season-A Lowell. The following roster changes have been made:
ADD: RHP Adam Lau
DELETE: RHP Austin Maddox
Lau begins his second stint of the season with Salem, having already appeared in three games. He has posted a 2-0 record and a 0.00 ERA in 6.0 innings pitched.
Maddox, who threw 3.2 innings last night, leads the pitching staff with six appearances and three saves. He is 0-0 with a 4.63 ERA in 11.2 innings pitched.
Lau has been assigned number 30. Additionally, LHP Matt Kent has changed numbers from 30 to 11. Also, Taylor Grover's age has been updated to reflect his birthday yesterday
The Red Sox roster currently sits at the Carolina League maximum of 25 players.
