
Rhinos Bested by Brahmas 4-2 in Game 2

Friday: El Paso Rhinos 1 @ Lone Star Brahmas 8 - Rhinos are on the road this weekend for their bout against the Lone Star Brahmas for a 2-game series. Rhinos take the first goal of the night as Alexander Babich scores more than halfway into the first period. The Brahmas' Artur Turansky scores not too long after to tie the game at 1-1 at the end of the first period. The curtain rises on the second period but unfortunately neither team is able to score any goals. The Brahmas break away in the final period with the game with seven more goals. Dylan Smith takes the first goal of the period, followed by Tyler Nasca, Kyle Furey, Matt McQuade, and Johan Rosenquist all scoring in sequence over the course of the next eight minutes. McQuade earns his second goal of the night at the 10:34 mark with one last goal scored by Charlie Masek to round out the Brahmas 8-1 Victory.
Saturday: El Paso Rhinos 2 @ Lone Star Brahmas 4 - Rhinos & Brahmas take to the ice once more this weekend after last night's game. Unfortunately neither team was able to take the lead in the first period as neither side gave way the other's aggression. Going into the second Nicholas Niemo snags the first point of the night to put the Brahmas on the board. The Rhinos would even the playing field a few minutes later as Nick Turek brings the game to a temporary tie. Logan Tobias and MattMcQuade would go on to score a further two goals to end the period at 3-1, Brahmas out in front. After one final intermission both teams returned to the ice ready to face the third period. Following a lengthy stretch of time without any goals being scored, Bo Cosman gives the Rhinos their second goal of the night. With less than one minute left on the clock Dylan Smith takes a shot and scores, doubling the Brahmas' lead. This match would end with the
