Reynolds and McFarland Earn Postseason Honors

SPRINGFIELD, MA APR., 15 2011 -Scottie Reynolds (6'2, 190, Villanova) and Chas McFarland (7'0, 235, Wake Forest) were selected to the NBA D-League's inaugural All-Rookie Teams by the league's 16 head coaches today.

Reynolds, who was selected to the NBA D-League's All-Rookie First Team, played in 46 games this season (45 starts) for the Armor. He averaged 13.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 5.9 assists, and 1.9 steals in 34.3 minutes per game. Reynolds was also selected as a 2011 NBA D-League All-Star this season and scored 9 points and dished out 7 assists to lead the East All-Stars to victory.

"I'm proud of Scottie's accomplishments, both on and off the court," Armor head coach Dee Brown said. "Scottie worked tremendously hard throughout the season and this is a well deserved honor."

Reynolds, who was an Associated Press First Team All-American during his senior season at Villanova, was acquired on draft night from the Tulsa 66ers in exchange for the Armor's 2011 first round draft pick.

McFarland, who was selected to the NBA D-League's All-Rookie Second Team, played in 26 games this season (21 starts) for the Armor. He averaged 10.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks in 22.5 minutes per game.

McFarland, who joined the Armor three weeks into the regular season, missed 24 games this season due to injury.

"Chas was one of the best centers in the league this season," Brown said. "Even though he missed some time, he was a great addition to our team and a strong presence up front."
