
Bighorns Take Series with 99-87 Win Over Erie

RENO, Nev.- Anthony Richardson scored 22 points to lead Reno to a 99-87 win over the Erie BayHawks Thursday night, taking the decisive third game of its first round NBA Development League playoff series in the Reno Events Center.
The Bighorns led by just three points entering the fourth quarter, but outscored Erie 28-19 in the final frame to clinch their first playoff series win in franchise history. The Bighorns move on to face Rio Grande Valley in the second round, beginning Sunday evening in Hidalgo, Texas.
Donald Sloan chipped in with a double-double, notching 17 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Andre Emmett scored 18 points and added six rebounds off the bench for Reno.
Ivan Johnson paced Erie with 28 points, while Erik Daniels finished with 12 points and 10 boards.
Game One of the second round of the playoffs is Sunday at 3 p.m. PT. Game Two will be Wednesday, April 20, at 7 p.m. PT in the Reno Events Center. Game Three (if necessary) will be played Thursday, April 21, at 7 p.m. in Reno.
