PHOENIX - Three members of the New England Revolution have been invited to the U.S. Men's National Team's upcoming training camp which will be held in advance of the team's match against historic rival Mexico on Feb. 7 at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. Defender Michael Parkhurst, goalkeeper Matt Reis and forward Taylor Twellman are among the 26 players called into camp - which will begin on Thursday, Jan. 25, at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. - by head coach Bob Bradley.

For Parkhurst and Reis, the USMNT camp will be their second of the 2007 season, having already participated in the first session, which ran Jan. 4-19 and led up to the squad's match against Denmark on Jan. 20. The U.S., with Reis in goal, earned a 3-1 victory in that game to record their first victory of the 2010 World Cup cycle.

The 26-man group assembling in Carson this week largely resembles the roster that began training three weeks ago, with the exception of five changes. New England forward Pat Noonan (knee) and Houston Dynamo midfielder Brian Mullan (ankle) will not participate so they can rehabilitate injuries, and Denmark-based defenders Dan Califf and Heath Pearce are returning to their clubs to begin preseason. Twellman was added to the roster in place of Noonan. Twellman was invited to the first camp but declined the invitation while he continued to recover from off-season hernia surgery.

While Parkhurst is still looking to earn his first international cap with the USMNT, Reis now has two caps to his credit after earning the start against the Danes last weekend. Twellman has 19 career caps and has scored five international goals, including a U.S.-best four in 2006 to match former Revs teammate Clint Dempsey.

In addition to the 26 players arriving in California on Thursday, Bradley has also submitted releases for eight U.S. players based in Europe. Per FIFA rules, requests for the release of players must be sent no later than 15 days prior to match day. The final decision on which European-based players will travel to Phoenix will be made the week prior to the Mexico game.

The U.S. will face Mexico for the 52nd time on Wednesday, Feb. 7, with kickoff slated fro 9:25 ET on ESPN2 and Univision. Broadcasts on both outlets are scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. ET.
