FOXBORUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution and Houston Dynamo will meet on Saturday, March 29, in the 2008 MLS season opener for both teams. The contest, which is a rematch of the last two MLS Cup finals, will be televised live on Fox Soccer Channel at 7:30 p.m., with a live half-hour pregame show beginning at 7 p.m. WRKO 680 AM will also carry the game.
Saturday night's match marks the first time in the Revolution's now 13-year history that the club has opened its season at home.
New England and Houston have met in the regular season just four times previously, with the Revs holding a slight 1-0-3 advantage. Both meetings at Gillette Stadium have ended in draws, with the 2006 edition finishing 1-1 and the last July's contest finishing 3-3.
