
Revolution's Franchino Takes Indefinite Leave of Absence

Foxborough, Mass. - New England Revolution midfielder/defender Joe Franchino has been granted an indefinite leave of absence from the team to attend to personal matters. He left the team while the squad was training in New Orleans.
This is the only statement the team will issue regarding this matter.
The Revolution kicks off the 2007 season on April 7 against the Chicago Fire in Bridgeview, Ill., before hosting league newcomer Toronto FC at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, in the second game of a special soccer event doubleheader that also sees the U.S. Women's National Team take on Mexico's Women's National Team at Gillette Stadium at 5 p.m.
