REVOLUTION, YORK RESCUE MISSION PARTNER FOR BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE Mission Sponsors Free Tickets for People Who Donate for Students in Need (July 26, 2016, York, Pa.) - The York Rescue Mission has partnered with the York Revolution to create a school supply donation drive to benefit area students. Contributors will receive a pair of tickets to the Revolution's August 14 "Back to School Day" game at PeoplesBank Park, which serves as one of nine drop-off points for a long list of welcomed supplies. The other locations are the York Rescue Mission's administrative office; its economy stores in York, Dover, and Dallastown; Logos Academy, Union Lutheran Church; Katallasso Family Health Center; and the York City Police Department. People making their donations at each location will receive two ticket vouchers to exchange at the Apple Chevrolet Ticket Office at the ballpark for tickets to the August 14 game, when the first 850 kids at the game will receive a Revolution hat courtesy of Stambaugh Heating & Plumbing. The donations will benefit families served by the York Rescue Mission, students in the York City School District and the York Housing Authority's Codorus Homes, and students attending Logos Academy. "It is difficult for many in our area to meet their families' needs, including the need for school-aged related necessities," said Matthew Carey, CEO of the York Rescue Mission. "Our youth are our future. We are pleased to create this partnership to help meet these needs and promote and encourage education. It's all about people helping people." The mission and its partners are seeking the following donated items:
