Revolution to host Big Apple Circus at April 9 home opener

Foxborough, Mass. - The New England Revolution announced today that a special performance by the Big Apple Circus will take place at halftime of the Revolution's home opener versus the Columbus Crew at 7:30 p.m. on April 9th.
Andrey Mantchev, Virgile Peyramaure and Valdis Yanovskis, international star acrobats, from the cast of the Big Apple Circus' show Picturesque who are famous for their astonishing displays of floor and aerial acrobatics will, perform their act "Surreal Fun" at Gillette Stadium during the halftime break. Picturesque is the Big Apple Circus's 27th Season show and has been described as, "a joyful palette of movement, rhythm, color, light and sound."
International Clown Hall of Fame inductee and star icon of the Big Apple Circus, Barry (Grandma the Clown) Lubin, and emcee par excellence Dinny McGuire will both be part of the show at the Revolution game to entertain and enthrall fans of all ages.
Performances of Picturesque begin Saturday, April 2 and run through Sunday, May 8 under the Big Top at Bayside Expo Center.
