(York, PA): As the two-time defending Atlantic League Champion York Revolution draw closer to clinching a berth in the 2012 Atlantic League Playoffs, the organization will put individual playoff game tickets on sale on Tuesday, September 11 at Noon, for the five different potential home dates below.

It is likely that the Revolution will make the playoffs based on their current record of 68-58, and if so, it's known which dates the Revolution will be home at Sovereign Bank Stadium during the playoffs. As of today, the Revs own a seven game lead over Somerset in the Wild Card race.

It is a near certainty that York will play Freedom Division rival Lancaster in the first round of the playoffs and host games 3, 4 (if necessary) and 5 (if necessary) in the best-of-5. And if the Revolution advances past the Barnstormers and into the championship series, they will host games 1 and 2 of the Atlantic League Championship Series before the series would finish at the home of the Liberty Division Champion. (Home field advantage is alternated year-by-year between each division.)

Last season, York outlasted Lancaster in a classic divisional playoff series that went the full five games before dispatching the Long Island Ducks in four games to win their second consecutive title. York was just the second Atlantic League franchise to win the championship back-to-back, Somerset being the other in 2008-2009. The Revolution is striving to be the first to win three consecutive championships.

This is what the Revolution's Atlantic League Playoff schedule will look like:
