FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - New England Revolution II have signed defender Moshtaba Al-Hasnawi to an MLS NEXT Pro contract through the 2024 season with a club option for 2025.
Al-Hasnawi, 23, joins New England from the University of Michigan where he recorded 27 starts across 48 appearances, netting three goals and four assists. The Dearborn, Mich. native logged 1,461 minutes in his fifth season and was one of six Wolverines to appear in all 18 matches in 2023. Prior to his collegiate career, the four-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree trained with Vardar Soccer Club and Stoke City FC Academy.
New England continues the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro season tomorrow afternoon, taking on Chicago Fire FC II at 1 p.m. ET at Gillette Stadium. The match streams live on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV with James Hadnot calling the action.
