POSTGAME QUOTES: New England Revolution II 0, Toronto FC II 2

New England Revolution II Head Coach Clint Peay

On his assessment of the game:

Peay: "I think that it's an unfortunate game that two teams are competing, and a poorly managed game led to not a game anymore."

On Academy goalkeeper Max Weinstein's debut:

Peay: "Max [Weinstein] did really well for his first game, made a couple of good saves, looked confident, was vocal. Very good."

On what Brandonn Bueno and Malcolm Fry bring to the team:

Peay: "Youthful energy, belief, and they [Brandonn Bueno and Malcolm Fry] showed it as they came on. Obviously, there's some quality with both of them. Brandonn's a terrific passer of the ball, and Malcolm is direct with his play and is always looking to be dangerous."

On Colby Quiñones returning from injury:

Peay: "He [Colby Quiñones] is a tremendous competitor, plays through a lot of pain and doesn't let you know about it. He's worked very hard and we're just happy to have him back."

New England Revolution II Defender Colby Quinones

On making his return to the pitch:

Quiñones: "Yeah, it's good. It's been a rough few weeks, but the team's kept me in a positive attitude and my family's kept me in a positive attitude, so I was happy to get back on the field tonight."

On Max Weinstein and Brandonn Bueno making their pro debuts with Malcolm Fry making his second appearance with the team:

Quiñones: "Yeah, I've seen all three since they have been here so it's exciting to see them come up through the pathway. They are full of energy. They bring great energy to the game, and they will soon be contributing on the field."

On how the team looks to bounce back ahead of next week's match vs. Miami:

Quiñones: "We had a really good week of training. There were a few mishaps in the game today, we shot ourselves in the foot so it's hard to come back. Before the red card we were playing a good game, so if we can build on how we started the game and continue that into next week and ramp up, then we will be okay."
