FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - More than 3,700 tickets to the New England Revolution's match against D.C. United tomorrow, Wednesday, Aug. 20, have been distributed to a total of 83 organizations supporting at-risk and disadvantaged children in conjunction with the second-annual "Kids Night Out" at Gillette Stadium.
The New England Revolution Charitable Foundation distributed almost 2,000 more tickets than the inaugural "Kids Night Out" event last year, thanks to the generosity of the team's corporate and individual partners who helped make the tickets available to the region's underprivileged youths. More than 2,000 meals and 1,000 Revolution t-shirts have also been donated to the 83 not-for- profit organizations in the New England area.
Among the 83 community organizations that received tickets to Wednesday nights game are: Affordable Housing and Services Collaborative, Inc., Agassiz Community Center, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mass Bay, Boston Neighborhood Soccer League, Boston Police Athletic League, Camp Mitton, Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Boston, Charlestown Community Center, Copper Cannon Camp, DCF Kids Fund, East Boston Social Center, Franciscan Hospital for Children, Jamaica Plain Youth Soccer, Shriners Hospital for Children-Boston, as well as numerous New England based Boston Centers for Youth & Families, Boys & Girls Clubs and YMCA's.
