FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution fell to the Philadelphia Union, 4-0, at Gillette Stadium on Saturday evening. Philadelphia struck early with a second-minute goal and never relinquished the lead, tacking on three more tallies in the second half.

Homegrown Player Zachary Herivaux made his home debut when he replaced Scott Caldwell as a substitute in the 68th minute. The appearance marked the third of Herivaux's MLS career and his first at Gillette Stadium. He also played 10 minutes against Toronto FC on Aug. 6, four minutes in his professional debut against Philadelphia on March 20, and has appeared in all four of New England's U.S. Open Cup matches. In addition, forward Juan Agudelo made his first appearance since suffering a knee injury on June 29. Agudelo replaced Lee Nguyen as a substitute in the 76th minute and recorded one shot.

The Revolution return to MLS action on Saturday, Aug. 20, when the club hosts Columbus Crew SC at Gillette Stadium for the second of three League meetings between the two sides this season. The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast locally on Comcast SportsNet with Brad Feldman, Paul Mariner, and Jessie Coffield calling the action. The game can also be heard locally on the radio on 98.5 The Sports Hub in English and on WMVX 1570 AM "Nossa Radio" in Portuguese.

Revolution Drop Second Meeting with Union

The Revolution fell to the Philadelphia Union, 4-0, bringing the club's record to 6-10-8 (23 pts.) on the season.

The Revs are now 5-3-4 at Gillette Stadium this season and own a 2-4-2 record at home against Philadelphia.

Revolution Make Four Lineup Changes

Revolution Head Coach Jay Heaps made four changes to the starting lineup from New England's most recent MLS match on Aug. 6 at Toronto FC. Defender Je-Vaughn Watson, defender Andrew Farrell, midfielder Scott Caldwell, and forward Teal Bunbury replaced defender London Woodberry, defender Darrius Barnes, midfielder Daigo Kobayashi, and midfielder Gershon Koffie, respectively.

Kamara Makes 200th Career MLS Start

Forward Kei Kamara started for the Revolution and played 90 minutes, giving him 200 starts in his MLS career. Kamara has recorded starts with Columbus (53), San Jose (11), Houston (26), Kansas City (97), and New England (13).

With 247 career MLS appearances, the Sierra Leone native is closing in on another career milestone of 250 career appearances, which could come as early as Aug. 28 at the New York Red Bulls.

Kamara led the team with five shot attempts in tonight's match, giving him 43 shots with the Revolution and 79 total shots in the 2016 season.

Homegrown Midfielder Herivaux Makes Home Debut

Revolution midfielder and Homegrown Player Zachary Herivaux made his home debut tonight when he replaced midfielder Scott Caldwell in the 68th minute. Herivaux has now appeared in two straight MLS matches.

Herivaux previously played in two other MLS games, both of which were on the road. The Revolution Academy product played four minutes on March 20 at Philadelphia and 10 minutes on Aug. 6 at Toronto, making tonight's 22-minute appearance the longest of his MLS career.

The Revolution Homegrown midfielder has also appeared in all four of the club's U.S. Open Cup matches. Herivaux scored the game-winning goal in the Revs' Fourth Round victory, 1-0, at the Carolina RailHawks, on June 15.

Agudelo Makes First Appearance since Late June

Forward Juan Agudelo replaced midfielder Lee Nguyen in the 76th minute of tonight's contest. The appearance was Agudelo's first League action since suffering a right knee injury on June 29.

Agudelo's appearance was his first in MLS action since June 25 at D.C. United and his first appearance across all competitions since the U.S. Open Cup Round of 16 contest at the New York Cosmos on June 29.

19th minute (SHOT) - Midfielder Diego Fagundez nearly equalizes for the Revolution in the 19th minute as he slaloms through the Union's backline and unleashes a curling, right-footed shot that forces a diving save from goalkeeper Andre Blake. 38th minute (SHOT) - Defender Chris Tierney leads defender Andrew Farrell inside Philadelphia's 18-yard box with a perfect through ball. Farrell, seeking his first career goal, fires a right-footed shot on net that ricochets off Andre Blake (WATCH HERE). 40th minute (POST) - Defender Andrew Farrell connects with forward Kei Kamara on a cross, but Kamara's headed shot rattles the far post and is cleared away by a Union defender (WATCH HERE). 56th minute (SHOT) - Midfielder Kelyn Rowe takes a powerful, right-footed shot from approximately 35 yards out, which forces a save from Andre Blake (WATCH HERE). 74th minute (CHANCE) - Forward Kei Kamara nearly pulls one back for the Revolution. Midfielder Lee Nguyen delivers a cross to Kamara inside of the penalty area, but Kamara's header sails just wide of the net (WATCH HERE).
