Republic FC Release Midfielder Jure Matjasic

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Sacramento Republic FC announced today the club has released midfielder Jure Matjasic following the termination of his contract by mutual consent.

"We would like to thank Jure for his contributions to the club and wish him nothing but the best in his next chapter," said Republic FC General Manager Todd Dunivant.

Matjasic joined Republic FC in April 2018 and made 27 appearances for the club across all competitions last season, scoring three goals and tallying five assists.

Republic FC kick off their 2019 USL Championship season at home on March 9 against Real Monarchs SLC. Deposits are also now open for the priority list on half-season plans. Fans are encouraged to sign up for early access to single match tickets via SacRepublicFC.com.
