Reno Bighorns Top Stampede

Reno Bighorns News Release


RENO, NV -The Reno Bighorns (4-6) defeated the Idaho Stampede (1-12) 96-83 in Boise Friday night. The Bighorns were led by Marcus Landry's 23 points. Darnell Jackson and Jerome Jordan each grabbed 11 rebounds.

Reno held Idaho to 33.3% shooting from the field. The Stampede's 83 points are the fewest allowed by the Bighorns this season.

Justin Holiday had a team-high 21 points for the Stampede.

Memphis Grizzlies' assignee Tony Wroten had 15 points and six assists in the first game of his second assignment with Reno. Jordan also had a season-high six blocked shots for the Bighorns. Walker Russell, in his first game with the 'Horns, had nine points, six rebounds and five assists.

The Bighorns will face the Stampede again tomorrow night at 6 p.m. PST .
