Erie, Pennsylvania - The Erie BayHawks extended their season-high winning streak to five games following a 105-91 win over the visiting Austin Toros on Friday night. The BayHawks used razor sharp shooting, specifically behind the arc, to down the Toros.

Austin 's (7-6) Cory Joseph led off the scoring with a long two point bank shot in the game's first possession. This was the only lead the Toros had all night as the BayHawks (7-4) surged to an 11-point advantage after the first quarter. Erie's D.J. Kennedy led all scorers with seven first quarter points. Erie's second quarter advantage swelled to 21 as Demonte Harper deposited 10 of his season-high 18 points during the second frame.

During the first two quarters, the BayHawks shot 56% from the field while Austin struggled to connect, only scoring on 33% of their attempts. It was in the third quarter in which Erie held it's largest lead of the game. A Brandon Bowdry jumper boosted the Erie's lead to 24. The BayHawks cruised for the remainder of the game and finished Austin off by a final score of 105-91. For the game, Erie connected on 52% of their shots, including a 10 of 20 performance from three.

Erie 's Kennedy led all scorers with 22 points, including a season-high four three pointers. Harper (18), Nick Covington (17) and Keith Benson (14) also contributed with double figured scoring efforts. Austin was paced by San Antonio Spurs assignee Joseph who tallied 21 points. Tre Kelley (16), Rick Jackson (13), Tyler Wilkerson (12) and Kyle Weaver (10) also scored double figures for the Toros.

The BayHawks square off against Fort Wayne tomorrow at Erie Insurance Arena while the Toros head home to face the Texas Legends on Sunday.
